25 And Judah3063 and Israel3478 dwelled3427 safely,983 every man376 under8478 his vine1612 and under8478 his fig8384 tree, from Dan1835 even to Beersheba,884 all3605 the days3117 of Solomon.8010

26 And Solomon8010 had forty705 thousand505 stalls723 of horses5483 for his chariots,4817 and twelve8147 6240 thousand505 horsemen.6571

27 And those428 officers5324 provided victual3557 for king4428 Solomon,8010 and for all3605 that came7131 to king4428 Solomon's8010 table,7979 every man376 in his month:2320 they lacked5737 nothing.3808 1697

28 Barley8184 also and straw8401 for the horses5483 and dromedaries7409 brought935 they to the place4725 where834 8033 the officers were, every man376 according to his charge.4941

29 And God430 gave5414 Solomon8010 wisdom2451 and understanding8394 exceeding3966 much,7235 and largeness7341 of heart,3820 even as the sand2344 that is on5921 the sea3220 shore.8193

30 And Solomon's8010 wisdom2451 excelled7227 the wisdom2451 of all3605 the children1121 of the east6924 country, and all3605 the wisdom2451 of Egypt.4714

31 For he was wiser2449 than all3605 men;120 than Ethan387 the Ezrahite,250 and Heman,1968 and Chalcol,3633 and Darda,1862 the sons1121 of Mahol:4235 and his fame8034 was in all3605 nations1471 round5439 about.

32 And he spoke1696 three7969 thousand505 proverbs:4912 and his songs7892 were a thousand505 and five.2568

33 And he spoke1696 of trees,6086 from the cedar730 tree6086 that is in Lebanon3844 even to the hyssop231 that springs3318 out of the wall:7023 he spoke1696 also of beasts,929 and of fowl,5775 and of creeping7431 things, and of fishes.1709

34 And there came935 of all3605 people5971 to hear8085 the wisdom2451 of Solomon,8010 from all3605 kings4428 of the earth,776 which834 had heard8085 of his wisdom.2451

20 Иудеи и израильтяне, многочисленные, как песок на морском берегу, ели, пили и веселились.

21 Соломон правил всеми царствами от реки Евфрата до земли филистимской и до самых пределов египетских. Они платили подати и служили Соломону во все дни его жизни.

22 Ко двору Соломона ежедневно доставляли тридцать коров отборной муки и шестьдесят коров обычной,

23 десять откормленных телят, двадцать телят с пастбищ и сто овец, не считая оленей, серн, косуль и откормленных птиц,

24 ведь он властвовал над всеми царствами по западную сторону реки Евфрата, от Типсаха и до Газы, и жил в мире со всеми окрестными царствами.

25 В дни правления Соломона иудеи и израильтяне жили спокойно, каждый под своей лозой и смоковницей, от Дана до Беэр-Шевы.

26 У Соломона были стойла на сорок тысяч лошадей для колесниц и на двенадцать тысяч для верховых лошадей.

27 Наместники поочередно снабжали продовольствием царя Соломона и всех гостей на царской трапезе, и не было ни в чем недостатка.

28 Они также доставляли, куда требовалось, свою долю ячменя и сена для конницы и прочих лошадей.

29 Бог даровал Соломону мудрость и великое разумение, а широта его познаний была сравнима с обилием песка на морском берегу.

30 Мудростью Соломон превосходил всех сынов Востока и всех египтян.

31 Был он мудрее всех людей своего времени: Этана из Эзраха, Хемана, Калколя и Дарды, сыновей Махола, и славилось его имя среди всех окрестных народов.

32 Он изрек три тысячи притч и сложил тысячу пять песен.

33 Он мог рассказать о разных деревьях — от кедра, что на Ливане, и до иссопа, прорастающего сквозь стены; делился размышлениями о зверях и птицах, о ползучих тварях и рыбах.

34 И послушать мудрые речи Соломона приходили люди из всех народов, от всех царей земных, прознавших о его мудрости.
